At Nalli, we are looking for a motivated and experienced professional who can who can work on our business expansion, sales and operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in business development from retail expansion, real estate, hotels or hospitality industries. He/She is expected to play an end to end role in business expansion, sales and operations. He/She would work closely with the City heads and the group level management at Nalli and play a critical role in the business expansion of multiple cities, sales and operations.

Role / Responsibilities:

1. Retail Store Expansion

a. Assessment of the city demand potential: Analyzing demand of cities in terms of different customer segments (working professionals, students, male/female, high end / low end), and understanding of dynamics and demand in those geographies.
b. Assessment of the city supply structure: Analyzing existing properties, type of vendors, quantity of purchase and quality from existing vendors and demand supply-gap, and the potential list of vendors to target.
c. Relationship building with potential vendors: Meeting and building a long-term relationship with property owners/vendors in target markets to assess on-ground acquisition potential, build a present and a future pipeline.
d. Monitoring of the sales function of all the stores so as to attain or exceed the sales targets set at store level, city-level and group level.

2. E Commerce Sales
a. Identify and communicate business needs based off analysis for improved website functionality and enhanced customer experience to grow the business.
b. Identify, recommend, and execute strategies and initiatives to drive significant increased website traffic, conversion rates, revenue and profitability.
c. Manage all customer touch points and coordinate with other departments to maximize customer satisfaction.
d. Manage end to end Digital marketing to attain key growth.
e. Utilize website usability methods to develop and maintain brand merchandising standards and increase total conversion.
f. Build cross-functional relationships with the Marketing, Analytics and IT teams to ensure alignment of ecommerce initiatives.
g. Manage ecommerce budget by tracking expenses, coordinating accounts payables, comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.

3. Operations

a. Accountable for Inventory and related asset management.
b. Built a cluture of ownership and empowerment in team.
c. Drive on-the-ground implementation of any new System & Processes for the operation team.
d. Prepare and complete action plans; improve productivity, quality and customer-service standards, resolve problems, complete audits.
e. Improve operations systems, implement, enforce and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for
receiving product, inventory management and shipping.
f. Ensuring that communication between departments is ongoing and utilized to maintain an environment of continuous improvement.

Skills required
Strong skills in data analytics, strategy and planning, sales and marketing.
Ability to learn quickly and apply best practices to both process and technology solutions.
Strong decision making skills and deadline-driven.
Exceptional interpersonal skills for communicating effectively with group level management.
Proven leadership skills derived from having direct responsibility for building and leading high-performing team.

Payscale details: INR 5,00,000 - 11,00,000 P.A.
